The weeks seem to be going by pretty fast so far but at the same time it feels like I've been pregnant forever. Maybe it's just because its still somewhat of a secret and I'm getting excited about finally telling everyone! The only thing I really have to report about last week is the insomnia. I haven't been sleeping well at all. I'm still waking up to go to the bathroom but now its getting harder and harder for me to fall back asleep. Gone are the days of 12 hours of uninterrupted blissful sleep. I have a feeling they are gone forever! Still no change in the weight or the belly but here are the pictures.
How far along? 9 weeks 1 day
Weight gain/loss this week: 0
Total weight gain/loss: 0
How big is the baby? green olive
Maternity clothes? nope
Sleep: terrible
Best moment this week: probably any time I'm actually asleep
Movement: Not that I can feel
Food cravings: Yes spicy and salty
Gender: Can't wait to find out
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss the most: the usual
What I am looking forward to: Telling everyone!
Symptoms: Exhaustion, insomnia
Weekly Update: Your little embryo has now officially graduated to fetus-hood. Adding to the excitement, a Doppler ultrasound device might be able to pick up the beating heart. With basic physical structures in place and increasingly distinct facial features, baby is kind of starting to look like... well... a baby!
